Yes, I hate Christmas albums. When you think of a typical Christmas song, this is the sound you think of. So it’s no real surprise that the band the Goo Goo Dolls have decided its’ time to release a Christmas album. And yes, the most recent Goo Goo Dolls output has been largely uninspiring. The album is named It’s Christmas All Over and the song by the same name (written by Tom Petty) is the first track.It’s a great opening. Unfortunately, we don’t actually know if that song will pass his lips, because the details of the Goo Goo Dolls’ forthcoming holiday album have yet to be revealed. Yes, I hate most Christmas songs, although there’s a handful out there that allow me to stop saying bah humbug long enough to enjoy. I would say that you should watch it and if you like it, you’ll probably enjoy the album too, but that would not be entirely fair to the Goo Goo Dolls or to this album.
